OPENING CHRISTMAS PRESENTS (Years and Years)

Does anyone else remember grandpa giving out the pressies on Christmas day?
I used to get so impatient with the
process as it took ages, and all I wanted to do was to tear my pressies open. I
would be grumbling, and Mom would be nudging me to be quiet.
After visiting the house at St Fillians, I am amazed that so many people fit
into that tiny lounge. . .with its endless cups of tea with hot milk.
Merry Christmas all. I hope Santa has been kind to you.
Ma & Oupa used to get up early to be there by 6am so they could watch grandchildren open pressies... Dirk Snr used to hand out gifts?

I was never at 100 St Fillans for Christmas
dinner.
First Christmas with the Parsons’ was at their house in Discovery.
The house in Discovery belonged to Dirk and Sheilagh and we used to go there
sometimes on Christmas Day. When they bought the house in Chartwell [Fourways]
